“My Church Has No Idea What Prenatal Alcohol Damage is Like!”
Panel discussion April 5th 2017

Prenatal alcohol exposure is the source of many developmental deficits and often leads to educational and behavioural disabilities. Sunday school teachers, youth leaders, pastors and counsellors may find themselves challenged in responding to persons with organic deficits associated with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders). A panel discussion titled “My Church Has No Idea What Prenatal Alcohol Damage is Like!” will be held Wednesday, April 5th, at 7 p.m. at the Bethany Community Church in St. Catharines, and will feature family members who share insights on this growing problem. There is no charge for the evening session; RSVP to alcoholbabies@gmail.com. Earlier that day there will be an all-day conference on FASD at the same location, sponsored by the Niagara FASD coalition. Email for additional information.
